Washpool Lodge has been involved in many success stories within the equine industry over the past 25 years. The combined experience of Kevin, Letitia and Kerry has enabled Washpool Lodge to grow from a small family venture to a very successful Pre-training and Spelling Equine centre.
With an international client base including some of Australia's well known owners and trainers, the results of the Washpool team can be seen throughout the past years racing and breeding results.
Washpool Lodge also buys and sells showjumpers.




Kerry Langbecker  

Kerry has represented Australia twice in showjumping, has been leading rider at all the major royals and has won several world cup qualifiers in showjumping.  Kerry has produced many international showjumpers; his horses are currently competing in Japan, Thailand, USA and sevral other countries. Kerry has now retired from competing to train his two daughters, who are following in his footsteps.


Kerry is also the leading horse breaker at Washpool Lodge.  He broke in and educated “Shocking” who has now won the 2009 Melbourne Cup and the 2010 Australian Cup.  2009 horses in training sale topper “Seriously Good” was also broken in and educated by Kerry.

 

 

 


 Brooke Langbecker  

Brooke has won many show pony competitions.  Some of  her major achievements include Supreme Ridden Riding pony at Toowoomba royal show, Champion Open pony hacks at Toowoomba Royal and Brisbane Royal shows, placing 3rd in the Grand Nationals and winner of Owner/Rider of the year on numerous occasions.


Brooke has now turned her focus to showjumping. In 2010 she won the PCAQ State D grade Champion riding “Torchbearer”. Brooke has slowly been getting a jumping team together and looks forward to competing at Brisbane Royal this year, and as a Qld team member at the NSW state pony club championships.

 

 

 


Emma Langbecker  

Emma has always had a great liking to speed and after spending her early years doing the pony club gymkhanas, has now decided to take up showjumping.  Emma has been competiting regularly at the official pony club jumping days in the 12 years and under group.  2011 saw Emma attend her first PCAQ state championship on “Mucho Gusto”.  Emma has just been selected to compete for Qld at the NSW state pony club championships.





 

 


Letitia Langbecker
  
Letitia represented Australia as a junior in showjumping. In her early years she competed at pony club in all disciplines, then went onto showing and finishing, concentrating on showjumping. Letitia has also held a harness racing drivers licence and worked in the harness racing industry for all the early years of her life. Letitia prides herself in the presentation of horses. No longer competing herself, she is a full time strapper, coach and chauffeur for the children and their horses as wll as running the stables at Washpool Lodge.
